Networked Studio Project
“An artist's studio should be a small space because small rooms discipline the mind and large ones distract it.”
—Leonardo da Vinci
The Networked Studio Project asks us to reconsider da Vinci’s definition of an artist’s studio as a virtual space, neither large nor small, but infinite—operating at the crossroads of the physical body and our natural curiosities.
The videos which constitute the project are designed as a series of interviews without questions. They document artists whose creative practices invoke tendencies that question our assumptions towards research, media, science, performance and art.
