Vertically Integrated Socialism is part of a series of works titled Solutions for Social Order, in which major problems specific (or not) to Southern California are exposed, considered and resolved through architecture and urban planning. Each work represents a solution to one or several problems, and each solution is elaborated after consideration of the parameters imposed by politics and economics. However, those parameters imply such limitations that the solution becomes rather absurd, to the point that it actually magnifies the problems.
